Hi Beth Sarim!
"Careful" in what way?
with the rise of the new literature cart method of preaching, i'm curious as to how the traditional jw preaching work is organized.
the other reason i ask this is that i hardly see jw's door-knocking anymore.are they still going door-to-door and tracking how regularly their territory is covered?
are they still using territory maps and keeping track of do-not-calls, ethnic/deaf houses etc?i'm also curious as to how the literature cart ministry is organized.

With the rise of the new literature cart method of preaching, I'm curious as to how the traditional JW preaching work is organized. The other reason I ask this is that I hardly see JW's door-knocking anymore.
Are they still going door-to-door and tracking how regularly their territory is covered? Are they still using territory maps and keeping track of Do-Not-Calls, ethnic/deaf houses etc?
I'm also curious as to how the literature cart ministry is organized. Does each congregation own a fleet of carts and have publishers scheduled for certain locations within the territory?
Anyone who can shed light on how the JW preaching work is organized nowadays would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

so went to the meeting last night.
i had not been to one since before the holiday break (3 weeks ago).
besides, it was our first meeting in the new format.
besides the about 48 hours you worked there a week, you would have other duties too.
there was dish duties.
then you had the night watchmen duties.........once every 2-3 years in the home, you pulled an all night watchman duty.
Thanks New Boy. I've really enjoyed reading your Bethel experiences

you may have wondered how accidents will be avoided in jesus kingdom since we are told nothing will hurt or destroy.
Blondie, Thanks for the watchtower publication quotes.
The debates I had regarding literal pain being done away with were just with a couple of JW's I had encountered, who were old-timers. I guess their views didn't reflect the org's and majority of JW's in general.

It's funny how JW's think that there won't be any physical pain in the new system. Just shows how deluded they really are. They just don't get that the ability to feel pain is an important part of keeping ourselves alive by helping avoid any serious damage to our bodies.

just one little thought....adam & eve ate the fruit from the tree "of the knowledge of good & evil".
so..in other words, before they ate they did not know right from wrong...hmmmm so how can you blame someone who does not know right from wrong?.
for a crime to take place in human law you must have the act - 'actus reus' - and the guilty mind or 'mens rea' as it is termed.
information just passed to me.
let's hope this becomes even more widespread.
i wonder if the britain branch suspects a conspiracy?
i know we are all anonymous for our own personal reasons, so i understand if you would rather not say.
but if you don't mind sharing that would be cool.
i currently live in georgia, usa.
bethel in brazil (and i think in other countries as well) when a jw does 10 years of regular pioneer (or other form of full-time service) it can ask to stay three days in bethel.no longer in brazil, according to a letter sent today to all the congregations in brazil:ref .
: accommodation in betheldear brothers:in recent years, there has been a great privilege to stay in bethel those be welcome for over 10 years as regular pioneers and be encouraged by the zeal they have shown.
